Submission to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights: The right to privacy in the digital age

ICCL, along with 14 other organisations in the International Network for Civil Liberties Organisations (INCLO), has made a submission to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on the right to privacy in the digital age. This includes addressing recent trends and challenges, such as measures relying on digital technology taken to combat Covid-19, facial recognition technologies, and the use of encryption.

This submission was drafted by ICCL Policy Officer and INCLO Programme Manager Olga Cronin and Dr Elizabeth Farries, INCLO Fellow and Co-Director UCD Centre for Digital Policy.
